About the Author

The author is a retired Information Technology Director with no formal training in history, politics, religion, or economics.  The author spent nearly 50 years in software development, in roles ranging from programmer to analyst to executive managing a large software development organization in a government agency.

Over the course of their career, the author learned that one of their most important skills was the ability to ask questions and objectively evaluate the answers.  That same methodology guides this blog: formulate a question, research potential answers, test assumptions, then refine and iterate until the topic is fully understood.

Feel free to share your thoughts below.  Every perspective is valuable, and I’m open to learning and evolving.
